Backstage
Near the gorilla position, visiting talent Madison Tempest is waiting for the show to start when GM Erik Hawke drops by. Hawke thanks her for appearance on Ascension, and Madison thanks Erik for the chance to be on his show. Hawke wishes Tempest good luck in her match, to which Madison replies she won't need it.
Madison Tempest vs Viola Wolff
Singles Match
Singles Match
Madison has control from the start, taking Viola coast to coast on the turnbuckles and smashing her face into each one before going for an early cover. Viola gets the shoulder up and the two trade submission holds on the canvas before Madison once again gets the upper hand. She lays into Viola with mounted elbows almost until the referee calls for a disqualification. Wolff briefly takes control after an unexpected upkick, followed by a pin attempt, but Madison kicks out and finishes Viola off with her Nail in the Coffin piledriver.
Winner: Madison Tempest
Behind the Scenes
As Vivian Lee is leaving the dressing room area in preparation for her match, Ascent Owner Jasper Kincaid seems to have been waiting in the hallway. Lee gives him a skeptical look, but Kincaid assures her he is just there to wish her luck. As he departs, Jasper encourages Vivian to 'not hold back' against Jud Kennelly.
Vivian Lee vs Jud Kennelly

Lee goes after Kennelly almost before the bell rings, hitting him with a vicious corner splash before taking a fistful of hair and smashing his face into the turnbuckle several times. Vivian stalks Jud across the ring, kicking him in the ribs repeatedly as he tries to get away. At last she ties him up in a submission, only to let go instants before he can tap out. Lee drags out the match, inflicting no small amount of suffering before catching him with a kick that brings the ref to call for a KO finish.
Winner: Vivian Lee

Viewers get a glimpse at the evolving Konstantine as he prepares for his upcoming Genesis Championship defense. As usual, by the time the scene changes we're left with more questions than answers.
Furia de la Merced vs Scarlett Anthem

Strategic orders from Romero give Furia a solid advantage in the earlier part of the match. Merced gets a near pinfall, but Scarlett gets the shoulder up one heart stopping moment before the ref reaches the three count. Romero continues to shout from ringside as Anthem battles back and takes the bigger man down with The Anthem for the pin.
Winner: Scarlett Anthem
Behind the Scenes
Away from the eyes of viewers, Erik Hawke has found owner Jasper Kincaid. The two have a heated discussion, Hawke demanding to know if Jasper had anything to do with what Vivian Lee had done to Jud, revealing that Kennelly had to be transported to a local hospital. Kincaid gives cryptic, non-committal answers, and tells Erik to worry about running the show. When Ascent's owner departs, Hawke is still looking suspicious of his motives.

Genesis Championship Match
K-Remix vs Konstantine
Genesis Championship Match
K-Remix starts off hot, battling Konstantine across the ring and back. Remix breaks out his flashiest moves, keeping The Last King on his toes for several exchanges. Konstantine changes the tide of the match with a well-timed big boot when K comes flying off the turnbuckle. For the rest of the match Konstantine has the upper hand, though Remix continues to fight valiantly. The young wrestler kicks out several times before eventually falling to the Midnight Murder Scene.
Winner: Konstantine
In Ring
Ascension wraps with Konstantine celebrating his victory in the ring. Notably, Jasper Kincaid watched the match from just behind the stage entry and steps out to congratulate the victory with slow, wordless applause.
